Pizza Bagus is very well named as the pizza’s are Bagus
(Indonesian for Good) they are in fact the best pizza’s we have
eaten in our many visits to Bali. The option is available for
dine in or home / hotel delivery and they are open daily from
8.30am to 10.30pm.
The pizza menu is huge with 19 different pizzas’ to choose
from. We ordered the house specialty Pizza Bagus Rp 31,000.
This had a topping of tomato, mozzarella, minced beef, chilli
sauce, mushroom, carrot, cream cheese, basil and parmesan. It
sounded like a very different combination and was definitely
the first time we had ever had carrot on a pizza. It was so
delicious and the base not to thick and not too thin in fact
just right. Our second choice was pizza Della Nona Rp 27,500.
The topping on this was tomato, mozzarella, chicken, mushroom,
onion and chili - this pizza was also delicious. Other options
include Pizza Sicilian Rp 25,000 with tomato, mozzarella, egg
plant, basil, and parmesan, Pizza ricotta e spinach Rp 27,000
tomato, mozzarella, ricotta cheese and spinach, Pizza sole Rp
27,000 tomato, mozzarella, shrimp, zucchini, garlic and basil.
If pizza is not for you then there are plenty of other options
including Indonesia food including Nasi Goreng Rp 15,000 Aya
sabal Matah Rp 21,000 and Gado Gado Rp 13,000. A large range of
pasta dishes including Spaghetti, penne, tagliatelle,
conchiglie, ravioli, tortellini and lasagna starting from Rp
15,000 thru to Rp 32,000. They are also a choice of western
dishes with steaks, chicken breasts and even fish and chips. If
you are looking for somewhere for a light lunch or snack, they
also have sandwiches, fresh salads, side dishes and starters
available.
The children in our group even found room for dessert Tiramisu
Rp 9,000, peanut brownies Rp 9,000 and Gelato (12 different
flavors to choose from) for Rp 7,000 per scoop.
Beverages include the local favorites Bintang and Anker at a
very reasonable Rp 14,500 for large and Rp 9,000 for small.
Fresh fruit juices orange, lemon, banana, pineapple, watermelon
all Rp 6,000, tea, coffee, lassies, and milkshakes.
