4 Night Coastal Tour
Introduction
Travel About Bali’s two, three and five day island
tours take you along “The Roads Less Traveled “All
suggested itineraries are totally flexible. We recommend the
destinations and the towns and villages for overnight stops
but you can alter these each day depending on your interests.
All tours are for a minimum of two adults to a maximum of four
persons (adults and children) per four wheel drive vehicle. Our
driver Wayan Sueta is from the village of Taman just outside Ubud
and has excellent knowledge of the Islands history, culture and
natural environment. Wayan speaks fluent English and will do all
that he can to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for you.

Day one
Pick up from your hotel, we head slightly inland to Jatiluwih village
known around the world for the spectacular rice terrace views. We
then travel into the rain forest at the foot of Mt Batukaru. After
enjoying the rain forest we drive to the village of Tabanan a
stopping for lunch along the way at one of the many Warungs. Our
journey then turns west to Balian beach a very rocky beach but well
know for good surf. Our first night is in Medewi beach where you
will enjoy the sunset by Rambutsiwi temple overlooking the sea but
surrounded by rice paddies. The temple was built in the 16th century
by a Javanese Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha.

Day two
Depart from Medewi beach after breakfast following the main west
coast road. Enjoy the rice terraces that grow right up to the sea
line. We make a brief detour to Perancak a small village just south
of Negara by the mouth of the river were you will see many uniquely
shaped and highly decorated fishing boats. We then join the main
road and visit Palasari well known for having the largest Catholic
Church in Eastern Indonesia. After Palasari we drive to Pemuteran
stopping briefly to visit the tomb of Jayaprana and Layonsari the
Balinese version of Romeo and Juliet. The overnight stop is in Pemuteran.

Day three
After breakfast we can make an excursion to Menjangan for some
great snorkeling (if this interests you). We then drive to Seririt
and on to Banjar hot springs were you can take a dip in the warm
mineral water pools followed by a brief walk to the nearby Buddhist
monastery. The town of Lovina is our overnight destination, Lovina
has exquisite beaches and the atmosphere is relaxed and pace slow.
The night life focus’s on eating especially seafood also lots
of bargain shopping with prices much lower than Kuta and Denpasar.
The shimmering waters and black sands make Lovina twilights simply
stunning.

Day Four
In the morning you usually see the dolphins frolicking close to
shore. You can spend a half day at leisure in Lovina enjoying the
sites, swimming, taking a boat ride, shopping or just relaxing.
After an early lunch we drive to Singaraja the former capital of
Bali where we will take a walk and drive around the town before
heading to our over night stop in Amed. Stopping along the way in
Tulamben known for its great snorkeling at the USS Liberty ship
that sunk in 1942.

Day Five
After breakfast depart Amed and follow the coast to Seraya then
on to the Ujung Water Palace built in 1919. The palace has recently
been restored, we then visit Candi Dasa. Candi Dasa has some excellent
restaurants, beautiful scenery, historic temples and interesting
and usual shops. After a walk around Candi Dasa we commence our
return journey back to your hotel stopping along the way a small
fishing villages and attractions depending on the location of your
accommodation .
