TOUR ITINERARY

9.00am Pick up from your hotel, we travel to the still active volcano of Mt Batur ( last active in 1926 ) in the region of Kintamani, we also see Lake Batur the largest lake in Bali that provides water for a network of underground streams and springs . This area has some of the best scenery and views found on the Island.

Following our visit to Kintamani we drive approximately 40 minutes to the mountain Village of Ubud. On our arrival at Ubud we drive to Campuan hill to visit one of the most interesting Galleries in Bali, The Blanco Renaissance Museum. Within this amazing compound you will see the art, life and dreams of Don Antonio Blanco. Don Antonio was born in Spain but visited Bali in 1952; he was granted 2 hectares of land by the king of Ubud and later married a famous Balinese dancer Ni Ronji. Don Antonio was known as the Dali of Bali due to his flamboyant and eccentric character, much like that of the famous artist Salvador Dali. He also had a great love of painting figure objects and women in an expressionist-romantic style. This beautiful and inspirational museum also has magnificent gardens, tame tropical birds, including macaws, a restaurant and gift shop.

After the museum we then journey to the monkey forest where you will be able to see, photograph and feed the hundreds of sacred monkeys in their forest home in the heart of Ubud village.

The rest of the afternoon you can spend at your leisure, enjoy a fantastic lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants, visit the colourful Ubud markets or enjoy some of the best shopping in Bali at the many small specialty shops lining the main streets. Please note lunch is not inclusive in the tour price.

At approximately 3.30pm we will commence our journey back to your hotel arriving back in the Kuta, Legion, and Seminyak region at approximately 4.30pm. Please note pick up and return times may vary slightly depending on the area of Bali you are based, please enquire when making your booking.
