We continue driving north into the scenic central mountain region of Bedagul. At Bedagul we stop at the Candikuning spice, vegetable and flower market a traditional market with a vast array of produce with the most amazing smell from the diverse range of spices on sale. While at Bedagul we also visit Lake Bratan and the The Ulun Danu Beratan temple an exotic temple built by the side of the lake in 1633 by the king of Mengwi. The lake is also surrounded by manicured gardens with great views to the nearby mountains.

After Bedagul we continue driving higher up the mountains until we reach the highest point. It is here we stop for a light lunch and enjoy the view over the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan . After lunch we stop at Git Git water fall, a towering 40 meter waterfall that cascades into deep cool ponds, the perfect spot for a refreshing swim.

Following our stop at Git Git we travel to Singaraja on the northern shores of the island. Singaraja was the former capital of Bali and the chief port in Dutch colonial times. Our next stop is Lovina where we will make our overnight stop.

Day Two

The following morning you can enjoy an optional 2 hour boat ride in the bay to watch the dolphins as they frolic in the early morning sunshine.

At approximately 10.00am we continue our journey. We visit a Buddhist monastery before stopping at Banjar hot springs. The warm spring waters are believed to have numerous healing powers and a 30 minute soak is said to leave you feeling wonderful.

Following our visit to Banjar we continue our journey south via Belimbing and Pupuan with some of the best rice terrace views on the island. We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch before driving to Tanah Lot. Just before sunset we arrive at Tanah Lot temple built on a huge off shore rock where you will experience the spectacular sunset. Our tour concludes when we return you to your accommodation at approximately 7.30pm.
