Eat Pray Love

The big screen debut of the best seller Eat, Pray, Love staring Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem is going to be a feast for all of the senses.

Disillusioned and frustrated by her recent messy divorce Liz Gilbert (played by Julia Roberts) decides to take a year off to discover who she really is and where her life is heading.

Her journey begins in Rome were she embarks on a gastronomic tour and finds comfort in the warmth and richness of the Italian cuisine. After four months indulging in everything Italian and gaining a creditable grasp  on the intricacies of the language as well as nearly two stone in weight Liz (Julia) next heads off to India to feed her soul in an Ashram. Her time in India brings her great inner peace and enlightenment. After her Indian retreat she next heads off to the beautiful island of Bali were she finds love and spiritual harmony among the lush green rice terraces of Ubud. She visits a 95 year old Sharman or medicine man Ketut Liyer who gives her guidance after reading her palm and astrology from 900 year old palm scrolls.

Our Eat, Pray Love tour will take you  to the many locations in Ubud and the surrounding villages where the movie was shot. Walk along the quiet village streets and travel by air conditioned four wheel drive though the rain forest and rice terraces that feature so prominently in the film. The full day tour includes lunch in a local village warung and a visit to the vibrant Ubud markets.  An option is also available to visit and consult with Mangku a   Balinese Spiritualist and Healer for Palm, Aura and Chukra reading .

Full day tour $55.00 AUD per person including lunch and park entrance fees. Minimum of two people.
