TOUR ITINERARY

8.00am approx pick up from Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua or Seminyak. 8.30 from Sanur or Ubud .We head to Northern Bali to the rural areas of Taman and Gunung where they grow a vast array of delicious tropical fruits: see dry farms growing Coconut, Mango, and Jackfruit, Snake Fruit and Paw Paws Cocoa and Coffee. We walk along the same tracks as the farmers use everyday and see local people plowing, planting and harvesting their crops. The chance to ask questions and understand how tradition is still very much a part of everyday life. Depending on the season you may also be able buy fruits to taste or bring back to your hotel with you. The full day tour also includes a walk around the village of Taman where a local farmer will cut fresh coconut for you to enjoy. Half day tour returns you to your hotel at approx 1.30pm Full day tour includes a box lunch and return to your hotel by approx 5.00pm. The Fruits of Bali walk is mainly on flat tracks and roadways and is suitable for all ages.
