TOUR ITINERARY

8.00am Pick up from Kuta, Legian Nusa Dua or Seminyak or 8.30 pick up at Sanur or Ubud. From your hotel we travel North to the Ayung River in Ubud. The Ayung is a river of contrasts from cascading water falls and white water rapids, to its gentle flow through the lush green Ayung Valley. The River is essential to everyday Balinese life and the water source for the unique Subak irrigation system so essential to the rice paddies and crops.

This tour gives you an insight into Balinese rural life and the way the people work as one with the land. The Ayung valley also provides some of the most breath taking scenery on the island. Half day tour ends in the village of Kedewatan where you will enjoy an authentic Balinese lunch in a family compound before returning to your hotel at approx 1.30pm .

Full day tour will include a boxed lunch in the rice fields and a visit to the Payangan morning market. Full day tour returns you to your hotel at approx 5.00pm. A moderate level of fitness and good walking shoes are required.
